Oh...my...gosh!! That was SO COOL!! I was just coming over to your blog to tell you that I think you & I are a lot alike and look at this!!!! This is THE most feel-good song on The Complex and isn't Venus Hum just the cutest thing you ever saw when she flings her arms out and sings "I FEEL LOVE!"
I have been so depressed--but what a big grin I have on my face and my toes are tap, tap, tappin' (yep, both feet!) Thank you! :)
Well, I just had to come back to watch Venus about ten more times. Her energy intoxicates with joy. And that smile with the head bob, oh my, is it Friday? :-D
And I thought it was going to cool down just a bit today. ;-)
This song and her energy, the dress, her expressions, the whole Blue Man thing...it is so wholly positive and jubilant, so far removed from any sense of negativity--it is an experience of freedom.
This song seems to spontaneously trigger a reprieve from depression. I find myself almost unconsciously abandoning myself to a feeling of jubilation while listening to it.
Not sure Tree, but I think Venus is wearing the boots. She is quite addictive, isn't she? I think I'm going to leave her up another week.
Oliviah, The video does have the ability to just yank you into another reality. Wish we could bottle that and drink it up. (and drop it into a few other people's drinks too!) JUBILANT! Exactly!
