7-24-06 ticky tocky

What we were before we aren't now.
What we are now we won't be tomorrow.
The pendulum swings....ticky tocky, ticky tocky.

We could be anything...any minute.
Healed, hurt, hero, hemorraged.
Anything at all...and then something else entirely.

Do not try to follow along. It will only make you dizzy.

I a state complete dizziness, Rupen stumbles to the floor, but still has the energy to say, "Tick Tock"

Over-easy with a slow steady rhythm on a warm rainy afternoon. Slightly humid, white sheets, down duvet, skin glistening with sweet salty sweat. Tick Tock, Tick Tock. You really must stop teasing me Aggie with all these subliminal messages. :-D

Happy Tuesday to you my dear.

Love that metronome! I get a more fond memory from it... one where my Mother is giving a flute lesson, with the little music beat- keeper merrily bobbing along...ah a happy time.

It keeps time, relentlessly, regardless of who marches to its beat. Good heavens - hemorraged... that is a very powerfully graphic word. Man alive girl, you've got to get out of that place. (play Eric Burdon & the Animals here) You have the right idea... the beat does just keep on going. I hope this current beat just mosies itself right on down the line in a hurry to the next and much better one.

LOL Tree, you are way too easily swayed. I suspect most of the messages you receive are entirely liminal. (snicker)

Terry, I'm glad for a good memory. :) Metronomes remind me of piano lessons. They were great for my brother but I have NO rhythm...and that thing did not help. LOL
Ahhh Eric Burden and the Animals.
That's a great song but I prefer "I'm just a soul who's intentions are good. Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood."

:) As for getting out of this place...one winning lottery ticket ought to fix everything.
