6-14-06 Try and try again....
Today I will quit smoking...again.
I quit last year and that lasted about 4 months. The stress (and I think I'm justified in that one) got me back to it. It was also very difficult in that my husband continued to smoke. That half-smoked cigarette in the ashtray was just too easy to pick up.
So, he announced on Sunday that he would be quitting "in a couple of days". He purchased a box of nicotine patches last night and we both ran out of cigarettes today. I ran out about 10 minutes ago.
I do want to quit...but this came a bit sudden for me and I'm not sure I'm mentally prepared. Regardless, if he's quitting it's the best time for me to quit. We are going to be some cranky, snack-eating people for a while, I think. Maybe not. We'll see.
Gosh I hope I get it right this time.
Happy Wednesday.

Terry, noooooo...nooooo extra pounds. I guess I'll have cigarette money for new clothes though, huh?
How did that spam get in there? So much for word verification. CYNOPLUS...sounds Greek.
I have two problems, smoking and drinking Coke. The latter I seem to have sorted out through a very persistent nagger and colleague. The former, however, continues to nag with persistence.
Good Luck! It is possibly the hardest addiction to quit, but something tells me you're a lot more motivated to quit than me, and therefore should succeed.
Forgot to mention...awesome image
