2-9-06 A different circle

There was once a whole, made of two halves.
Each half balanced the other.
Balance was necessary, in action, emotion, reason...

And now there is only one half.
One half searching for balance but tilting, lilting.
One half with nothing but extremes.
One half overwhelmed with emotion
over-required of action
hanging tightly to slipping reason.

Sorry, it didn't start out as a sad post but it got that way.

Love to all. Have a good Thursday.

That fractal is amazing, Agnes, souls and the circle of life is what I see, soul mates even and thereby as you wrote, two halfs of one whole.
Hope you have a wonderful day, x

Is it completely rediculous that when Ilook at fractals...I try to see what other images they look like? This one is lovely by the way.

I see two statues...one on either side and a gateway between. Hmmmm. Or maybe that's just the lortab I took for my jaw that's talking.

Autumn, yes - soulmates.
When I created it I saw a wedding ring. I kept trying to get the statues to look more human. Ah well....the point is there.
Thanks for your wonderful words. My fracs just aren't complete without them. :)

Aw Becky. I do hope the baby feels better soon. Sick kid can be very overwhelming.
As well, I hope you aren't coming down with it too.
I'll stop by soon to check on you. ((((((((Becks)))))))))))

Linny, not rediculous at all. I think that's why I stopped naming them. I'm seeing a hundred things when I create them and I want to leave that open to interpretation. We've all seen different things in life so surely any piece of "art" will evoke different meanings/emotions etc.
I love the "gateway" concept. That adds a new dimension to it for me.
I love the lortab too. LOL
I do hope your jaw is feeling better soon.

Aggie, I love this poem, as well as the picture. You captured it poignantly in words and form. I love that the "ring" is joined, but yet has two entities. Beautiful.

How's life this "finally" Friday going for you? I'm not on the beach either - boo hoo. Hope it goes fast.
