Well, you had me with the squirrel - looks like the hefty Herculien showoffs running up and down my trees... I must say they haven't ever gone that far yet; I have that exact feeder, and they usually just hang by their toes, hoarding the sunflower seeds from the birds. Funny!

Humor and truth always from the master. I'll have to pass that one on to my Sweetie for his own reflection as it seems to fit :-D I know what you mean about the protective thing after the loss of a Dad/Spouse. G is going through the same thing with his Mom after losing his Dad in January. He is flying out there this week to Florida to pack her onto an airplane to Iceland (her homeland). Then he will breathe a sigh of relief because she is with other family. Such a good son he is. She's going to tour Iceland with us for part of our trip! I can't wait. What a perfect tour guide :-) Okay, I think I've written a whole post's worth on your site - sorry!

Thanks Autumn. We need good quotes.
Happy Wednesday to you too. :)

Terry, Your posts are always welcome, no matter the length. :)

It is very difficult not to be overprotective of Mom. I know your sweetie is having the same trouble. I'm having to let Mom find her own way and that is harder than I ever thought. I want to shield her from any harm because I feel she's had enough. I know he feels the same.
We will probably do better letting them build their own independence. They really are capable - but try to tell my that to my worried mind. LOL
I'm thrilled that she will be able to join you on your trip. She will be a wonderful tour guide and her leading the way may very well set the connections back where they belong. She'll find strength and he'll find peace.
Much love to you all on your journey...journies. :)

I have just discovered that you are totally cool--you like Dave Matthews AND (gasp!)...the Blue Man Group---The Complex!!!!!!! I don't know anybody else that has even heard that CD. Now that is what I call totally cool.

(blush) Olivia, thank you. :)
Dad recorded the Blue Man Group--The Complex (video) and showed it to us kiddos with so much excitement. We had a blast watching it. I will forever relate them to him...and that's a good thing. If you haven't seen the performance, I'm sure you can buy it and it's worth a hundred times more than you'll pay for it.
Dave Matthews is amazing. An incredible lyricist.

Linny, so I guess you're stealing a quote from me. :) I'm honored. LOL
Check out thinkexist.com. SO many quotes. Enjoy.
