5-24-06 Dreamz?

Crystal Ball

I dream.
I dream vivid, colorful, emotional.
I rarely remember the dreams but I remember the emotions. My days can be determined at times by the mood I awake with.

Lately, they have the same mood - although the dream is not the same.
The mood is "lost", and it's a very odd mood for me.

I remember Sunday night's dream.
I was at work. It was very dark night. I was entirley alone. I wandered about the cubicles in confusion; searching for light where I thought it should be. There was no moonlight from the windows, no light from computer monitors. I continued to wander in the blackness. I knew my way around but still I felt lost.
I realized that my glasses sat on a desk. They seemed like some kind of salvation for my confusion. I reached for them..........and then awoke.
I wonder what they would have shown me.
I wonder why it didn't dawn on me to look for the light switch.
(I realize the interpretation is blatantly obvious. I realize it will pass.)

Do you dream?
Do you dream in color?
Have you any dreams to share?

Happy Humpday.

Morning Agnes :D
I'm a bit late today, but we've been doing some shopping and among other things got a new BBQ :D So we're having grilled Rainbow trout today :)) And it's not even Troutday...lol

As for dreams, I dream in colour. I've learned a lot about myself through dreams in the past, but today I rarely remember them after getting out of bed.
The most memorable one was probably the one I had shortly before mom died. I dreamt I was in a big cathedral or church and in the middle ailes, two black horses with very long legs came running towards me.

When I told Granny about it she said that dreaming about horses inside a church is an omen about death in the family.
Mom was gone only a couple of days later.
I can't tell you weather I believe in it or not, but I do believe that dreams are the backdoor to our sub-conscious life.

Often though, the subject of dreams often have the opposite meaning. So you might not be as lost as you think. You might just be afraid to get lost.

Hope your day is a good one :hugs:

Gorgeous fractal hon. Looks like you are getting the knack of 2.04. I had a dream too. You . . . well, I'll save the details for another time. :-D

Agnes, that is the most beautiful picture I've ever seen! Instead of a crystal ball it looks like a lustrious pearl of royal color. It is absolutely stunning.

As for dreams - You and I dream similarily. Woe is me (and everyone around me, LOL) if I've had a bad or wretched dream, because it does set my mood for the rest of the morning. I had a disturbing dream just last night which I related to my sister who actually does prophesy reality with her own dreams... My dream was of my father who is vacationing right now in New Zealand. In the dream he was ill - reminiscent of my late husband, and needed my assistance to walk. I awoke in fear and worry, grateful that my dreams have never been of a true nature in the past. Dreams remain a mystery.

Christa, Trout? And not on Troutday? There's laws against that, aren't there?
I had forgotten about dreams meaning opposite things. My mother swears that dreaming of death means a birth announcement...and she's always been right.
That's a pretty odd dream about horses in a church. Even odder the meaning. Now that's in my subconscious, you know. It's going to freak me out it I dream of it. LOL
I think I'm not afraid of getting lost. I think I'm afraid of the light. (infer "acceptance")

Treé, I'm loving 2.04. Sadly though, I'm using it on the laptop because I have more resources there. Also sadly, I can't get the laptop to talk to the pc. ARGH. So hey, I've got some beauties stored up. LOL
And you bring an interesting question, if we're being serious. Have you ever wondered if someone you know dreams of you? That's an odd thought.

Autumn, I have a grandfather who is color blind but only with red and green....and he dreams...in red and green. How strange is that?

Terry, I like your idea of a pearl. In fact, I thought it looked a bit like a pearl splasing into water. Thank you for the compliment.
The dream of your father would have me a mess all day...but if we believe the subconscious dreams in opposites (like a mirror image of reality) then you are likely worried about losing your dad and finding out that he is very strong and independent instead.
There - Agnes-Dream-Interpreter. ;)
Don't believe a word of what I say. LOL

Nice pic...

About my night dreams, I rarely recall them. But, I suspect my dreams have a lot of control over the frame of mind I am in when I wake up.

Really liked this post :)
