LATE Saturday Night

Well, haven't you kids had naughty-bad-fun in my absence? LMAO! I was attacked by a spontaneous hockey game. It is hockey season...and I will be spontaneously compelled to go watch.

So, here are my (very novice) fractals o' the moment. Let's see how I did:

Daisy

Hmmm - wasn't that fuzzy before I rendered....

Raindance (work in progress)

Sssss

LENNON (my crowning achievement)

Aggie, the Lennon fractal is abso-f***ing-lutely stunning! I love it! Sorry if we made a mess of your place while you were gone. Blame it all on Linny, and yes, Hooter's does have ice cream. I had never noticed that either--go figure. lol

Raindance is cool. I'm liking that one more and more as I look at it. Did you pose for that one? ;-)

I like the Sssss especially - it reminds me of so many things, but the words that ultimately take up residence (for whatever reason) are 'Symphony under the sea'.
The others also are absolutely excellent!!

'Taking a bow'

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much."

I saved the Lennon. I still want to work on it. I think I can get closer to the original. We'll see.
Raindance IS a self portrait. I can often be found in feathers carrying a bow. I still want that to take on a more human shape.

My biggest problem with fractals is the lack of instant gratification. When I draw something, even the square inch I'm working on is going to turn out just as I want it. Fractals are not that way. To change an angle (say on Lennon's left eye), I change also his mouth and some of his hair. ARGH. Truly frustrating. I must figure out how to control it better. I MUST DOMINATE IT. Bwwahahahaha! ;)

Oh, and all that cleaning I did yesterday....who's gonna clean up this ice cream and chocolate sauce?

My bad. I thought I had licked up all the ice cream. Must have got carried away with the Hooters. Hooter's ice cream, that is. Got a mop around these parts, oh, and I'll take an apron too if you got one. Mornin' Aggie! :-)

Beautiful, happy Sunday Morning to you too. (and to all, of course)
I slept in (very late night last night) and I awoke to a cool, sunny, 65 degree day. The windows are open and the cats are napping in warm, sunbeam places.
Yesterday I re-arranged my dining area. I'm closing it off (we have no dining table) to become MY room.
I haven't had a place of my own in....um....how long have I been married?? Yeah, that long.
Anyway. I'm on top of the world. Come stand right here next to me. :D

Kathy, the program is called Apophysis. It's freeware and if you Google "Apophysis" you will find the website. Be forewarned, the program is very addictive--lol. Have fun and post some of your work for us all to see. Enjoy.

Kathy, I'm thrilled to be able to link to you. Your blog brings a feeling of moving toward enlightement.
I think we are all learning, always. I know little also because I am certain that there is so much more to know. :) ((((HUGS))))
