WISHING STAR
In prosperity, our friends know us; in adversity, we know our friends.
-John Churton Collins

Close your eyes and make a wish on my wishing star. Maybe if we wish hard enough our wishes will come true.

(things typed for me to remember by)
Every day changes everything.
Dad was admitted to MD Anderson yesterday because, when he went in for scheduled testing, his heart rate was way too high.
They "stabelized" him and put him in a room. He's hooked to IVs. I think this is probably best and I almost hope they'll keep him until the surgery. Mom might actually get some rest. She has been working so hard to keep him comfortable.
Besides, the hospital is more likely to prepare him physically for this surgery. He has been having a hard time eating and gets dehydrated. Maybe they'll "pump him up".
Hang in there Dad. We need you.

Aw thanks Trace. I wish for everyone to be happy and healthy and to feel loved and to love someone else.

:D So good to know you all are out there. Thanks Trace.

Mostly I post because my memory is crap and I want to be able to remember what happened and when and why. But it doesn't hurt a bit that you guys are here to let me talk through this and to listen with your hearts.

Oh gawd, I'm all weepy. LOL It's ok, I do this alot. They're happy tears. :)

Agnes, I think your star is beautiful. I love the quotes to both pictures - I'm forever talking about becoming a "real boy" :-) Keep your chin up as you walk through this stuff - you aren't alone.

Aggie, beautiful star. Hang in there, we're all here. :-)

LOL - I don't want to be a real boy at all. I want to be a puppet, or better yet, a cartoon puppet. ;)

Thanks for wishing everyone. Feel free to wish on my star as often as you like. No limit here.

Christa, if you're able to read this, please know that I'm missing you and I hope you're well.

How about we all board that bus to Never Never Land...these types of things never happen there.

Linny, you're right on the money. Never Never Land, where we never have to grow up. :)

I think we have to have a happy thought so we can fly, right? Hmmm...I might have just the thing come tomorrow morning.
